I used to have a split top lid. The top was split in the middle with the hinges to the outside. It seemed to work better for larger trash items. This one seems to get stuck with the larger items. It's fits on top of the can snugly. The spin was smooth. The lid it easy to wipe down. I got it on sale or I never would have bought it.

This kid goes to a taller slimmer 20 gallon trashcan that is a perfect space saver for my kitchen and tall enough for the dogs to not be able to get in it. LOVE IT!!!!

Bought this to fit on the garbage can purchased at Lowes since they do not sell a lid, it is a snug fit but does fit and goes on easier over time

I reviewed the trash can because I love it. I wanted to review this as well. We have 2 large dogs that can take trash out of the top when it is full so the lid is a must. I have a very small kitchen and this trash can/lid takes up very little space. It amazes me how much it can hold while taking up so little space. Trash can is amazing and the lid is a must
