Seal fits perfect after I finally figured out how to put it in dishwasher. I kept putting it in the wrong slot and was baffled as to why it kept coming out. Has not come out since.

My door seal was in terrible shape after 17 years. It took a couple of minutes messing around with the new one to get it to install properly. You'll know when it is correct when it grabs/catches whatever it latches onto inside the door frame. No leaks.

The bad seal had a solid rubber gasket across the bottom. This item is pictured with a little gap in the middle of the bottom gasket, which would have certainly worked just fine. Received seal had a huge gap of no rubber for 8" or so across the middle bottom -- a far cry from the 1/4" gap in the picture for this item. This isn't the first time an Amazon shopper deducted a couple stars for an item not as pictured. I'm relatively confident that the received seal will work just fine. After a full cycle with no seal the dishwasher only leaked about 1oz of water on one side, and it's not like this thing can turn a drip into a geyser. If it doesn't work the customer will let me know and this review will be further downgraded.Happy shopping!

My old one went and had to be replaced. It's one of those parts. The install is relatively straight forward. There's videos on how to. One issue was the ends needed to be trimmed to fit just right. Yes, this IS the correct part. I had issues with another replacement that kept falling out of it's slot and warping. Turns out it was too long. At that point tho I had to replace that one as well. Check your fit when you get it to make sure it doesnt need trimming.

My bottom door seal for my Frigidaire dishwasher decided to break. After messing with the old seal for a while, I decided to find a replacement part. Found it, ordered it, and it was here the next day.I would advise you watch some videos on how to replace it as no instructions came with the part. I took the front panel off to make sure the seal was properly in place. Once I was happy the seal looked good, I opened and closed the door numerous times to make sure the seal would stay in place. After that, it was just a minor fight to get the door panel back on, with minimal swearing....

This item was easy to install and solved out leak problem! At first I was overwhelmed with my dishwasher leaking. I'm a pretty goo DIYer, but not when it comes to appliances. I knew that the water was leaking from the bottom door, so I inspected the inside of my dishwasher. This bottom door seal looked lopsided in my dishwasher, so I knew that had to be the problem. I did so research online and found that the bottom door seal was a common problem in dishwashers. I found the correct part number, it arrived in 2 days, and then I installed it in less that 10 minutes. There is a Youtube video that explains how to install this part, just search for the part number 809006501.Here are the basic install steps:- Open dishwasher door- Loosen the top two star bit screws- Remove the bottom Phillips screws- Close the dishwasher door- Remove the front panel of the dishwasher, it should just about fall off...mine did- Grab one side of the old door seal with needle nose pliers and pull the seal out, working your way to the other side- Make sure you look to see where all the notches are in your old seal, that way you install the new one in the correct position- Now is also a good time to get some cleaner and clean this area if it looks dirty, it will make a better seal if there is no crud buildup- Slide new seal in on one side and push it in along until you get to the other side- Then put the front panel back on, install the Phillips screws and tighten the star bit screwsThe hardest part for me was getting the front panel to stay in place when I was trying to get it back on.Easy install and so glad my dishwasher is working again.
