I clean the throttle body in my 2015 Silverado with the 5.3l V8 periodically. If you haven't cleaned yours in a while it's probably due, especially if it idles a little rough. This gasket isn't needed every time you pull the throttle body to clean it as long as you're careful with it, but after a few times I wanted a new one. It's the OEM gasket and is exactly what came on the truck from the factory.
