I needed a mic quickly for speeches at a birthday party. I've used this only once, but it was really great. 1/4" plug on receiver fit into jack on my battery-powered amp. Easy set up. I look forward to more occasions using it.

I bought this to have a second microphone for my Gemini GGO-650L speaker for Karaoke night. Very few instructions came with it and it was a little difficult to figure out how to install the battery. The entire lower part of the microphone screws off, but at first just the end was screwing off. You also have to screw off the lower part to control the volume, which is why i only gave it 2 stars for volume control. Would make a whole lot more sense to have the volume control readily available. All in all this is a terrific microphone once you get it going.
