I’ve been buying and selling this music stuff since 1973. Home studios since 1983. Been in many bands. As a drummer for many years practice was always at my house so I always bought the PAs. Mixers. Multi-track boards. Speakers, stands, mics, lighting etc. I started as a guitar player and am ending as a bassist. I have always played all 3 instruments so I could record by myself. Recently I decided to sell off most of my studio stuff not being in a band (not sure I will ever do that again at my age) and not doing any recording. I sold my Tascam Model 12 this past week, my latest multi-track. What I have left would not be worth it to me to sell off for small sums of money in bits and pieces so I’m gonna keep what I have left just in case I want to jam with someone and for a nice practice space (still play my instruments a lot) and crank it up. So I wanted a simple small mixer to control what I have left which is two large 15” powered speakers, two near field “control room” monitors, a couple of mics, a Roland electronic drum set, my guitar and my bass. I wanted Bluetooth to stream from my iPhone. I wanted an EQ with L-M-H, I have a gain control on channels 1&2, a low cut on 4 channels. I have a ton of CDs so why not connect the CD player lol (only stream these days) and it has an input for that player. I have to say it all sounds great mixed through this little mixer! Outstanding really. Clean. Quiet. Simple processing. It would be great if I set this up at a party and played tunes. Would be adequate for a small gig with a 2-3 piece band even. I’ve had many many higher end mixers and multi-track units through my life and I have to say I am impressed with this. I wasn’t expecting much but this thing delivers!Last note: I didn’t want to spend much or I would have just kept the model 12 for my mixer. I had a budget in mind of 50 bucks lol. (I kept $350 of the $400 I got for the Tascam) This Gemini mixer is normally 90 bucks or so then add tax. I got this from the Amazon resale center for 53 dollars total. Nice! It was in “used-very good” condition which is described as a new returned product. I’ve never bought from the Amazon re-sale before. But there’s not a scratch or finger print on this. Came in original box. Manual is missing but that’s a whatever for me. If I need it I can find it online with a million YouTube videos I’m sure lol. And I think it was retuned because a little metal sleeve on the power cable was loose in the box missing the tiny two screws to put the two parts together. I’m sure I have two tiny screws around somewhere so easy fix for me. Amazon resale comes with a 30 day free return policy so why not try it out. Worked for me…

Unuseable - very loud hum and constant static even at zero volume level. By the time I tested it, the return window closed. Money wasted, lesson learned.

Uppfattade enligt beskrivningen att jag kunde köra 2st olika Bluetooth spelare på 2 olika spotify konton men mixern kan endast tillåta en spelare med Bluetooth. Så den andra spelaren måste kopplas in till en spelare via sladd

I bought this mixer to use as the centerpiece of my on stage stereo keyboard monitor rig. Has all the features I need to get a good stereo image on stage from my two keyboards. Sounds great, is low profile and lightweight. great value for the money.

I had a fairly specific use case where I basically just wanted to be able to mix the sound output from two devices and have that audio in a single headset. I initially landed on a Mackie Mix5 which was a great fix until it abruptly started transmitting static over all outputs. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though as I did not realize how poor the Mackie was at driving (powering) my headphones. This board provides way more ability to deliver a strong signal as well as an additional layer of flexibility with output as there are three physical controls that can effect volume output for headphones (channel, headphone and master controls). I would get this over the Mackie Mix5 in a heart beat.

Hard to find 2 stereo channels (actually 4 if you include AUX and RCA) and 2 mono channels with full audio adjustments, in this price.Overall I am happy with this mixer although I was expecting more amplification for the stereo channels but you can get around it by using the volume of the device itself.Good buy to last years.

I purchased this based on an answer to my question saying that the FX send can route a channel to the FX bus and aux output without that channel ending up in the main mix -- unfortunately this was incorrect information. While you could use external effects that add to the signal if you're using something such as a gate or delay you can't make it work because the channel level needs to be turned up in order for the fx send to work. Aside from that issue I really don't like that they used a very cheaply made power supply with a very non standard plug so that if your power brick dies you can't just easily buy a replacement. The chassis of the mixer it's self seems solid but it doesn't stay in place and slides all over the place. Most importantly the manual is absolutely worthless. No idea how bluetooth would even work because it just doesn't tell you.... it also doesn't seem to have a USB sound card built in like you are led to believe but only can play MP3 from a USB drive (but again, the manual isn't clear). Sound quality seems ok but I didn't use it for too long since it just simply won't work for my application. I would recommend a Mackie Mix 5 or Mix 8 if you just need a basic mixer which is about the same price and a much better quality (though it also has the fx send issue that this one does).

I've had this for about 2 months, and it's still working great.I love the sound quality of this thing - it's crystal clear. The post-FX sounds are quite nice, too. If you're looking for a straightforward mixer to route your audio into your computer or some other hub, this is perfect. I haven't used the other special features like USB or bluetooth - I'm using this as a line-in input for my dedicated music production sound card, XONAR STX II. The build and feel of the machine are also nice. As for the price and quality, I'm very pleased with it.
