Love this product. The garbage disposal is the grossest/dirtiest thing you cannot see in one's home. Every week inside the metal around the rubber 'entry' round thing should be wiped out w/ a couple dry paper towels using rubber gloves. The black 'gunk' will amaze you if you are not already cleaning that out. Food debris 'splatters/splashes' when grinding......hense accumulates and could really smell bad. I use these lemon 'drops' w. hot water every few days.....nice smell. Since you can't see what's down there, one can assume it's acceptable....WRONG.

I spent a lot of time looking for a good solution to help freshen up my kitchen sink/garbage disposal. This product had good reviews, and after trying it out, I can confirm that it does work well.The things I like: it is easy to use - you just drop in a ball, use the disposal with water, and you’ll notice a fresher lemon smell. The package has a lot of balls, so you can use them often if desired. The little lemon balls are very attractive, so if you wanted to, you could leave them out in a cute container on the counter for decoration and easy access.Things I didn’t like as much: I wish it had a foaming aspect and provided a deeper clean.Overall, this product was worth the price, effective, and definitely refreshed my kitchen sink in a pleasant way. I will purchase this again.

I kept wondering my kitchen still smelled like onions long after dishes were cleaned & stored away. The garbage disposal!Hot water on, drop 1-2 of these little orange balls in the abyss, turn on the disposal and seconds later you smell a little bit of oranges but no more onions. Turn off the water.This brand is an excellent value for the amount of product you get and how thoroughly they work. I do it from time-to-time even if there’s no obvious smell because stuff builds up down there & this is a fast, economical, efficient way to keep it clean. Btw, this is probably my 3rd or 4th purchase over the years.

I don’t use my garbage disposal very often. But I did have a funky odor, so I ordered these. I used exactly as directed and it worked like a charm. The smell was that lemony clean smell.It did get rid of the odor, but the scent went away within an hour or so I ran the water, but it dissipated.I didn’t use the garbage disposal at all and a few days I did smell it again, and I used another one. The smell was not as strong as the second time so hopefully each time I use this it will make it better but I hope I don’t have to use one every single day as this could be pricey.

Update: After posting my review, the company reached out to me and asked if I was willing to try their new updated version since I wasn't thrilled with their last. The customer service reps that I talked to were awesome and it was clear that they cared about their product. They didn't ask for any information from me and I received it a few days later.They sent me a new bag of these and asked me to try them. They didn't ask me to update my review or beg me for changes. They simply offered me a chance to try their new product. That was amazing professionalism that I can appreciate.The newer version wasn't as strongly scented as the other I first had, but smelled about the same. I've come to the conclusion that it's just not the right scent for me... but at least it's tolerable as it doesn't hover throughout the house anymore and I don't have to try to drain the drain for minutes to get rid of the smell of the original. Overall, due to the amazing customer service and improved power of the scent (which is to say a lower amount), I would give this product no less than 3 stars.------------------------------------Original Review----------------------------------------Look... I'm sure this is cleaning things. Probably... But man it stinks. It's less lemony fresh and more like if you shoved your nose in a really strong power scrub mixed with a lemony vomit. It's overpowering and my entire main floor smells like it after. I usually use it and then immediately flush out as much of the smell as I can.To be fair I've bought many other brands before. I bought this due to the value... I won't be buying this one again. Great value if it's cleaning things, but I hate using it.
