This snow shovel is excellent for several reasons: 1) the ergonomic bend really, really helps prevent back problems and overexertion. 2) the weight seems light for its size, but handle strong 3) the blade is ALL polyethylene, not metal blade riveted on at the bottom. This is super important for us because the drive is stamped concrete and can't take metal edged shovels. 4) Two people of very different heights find it equally excellent to use. Price is competitive.

I ordered the shovel specifically for the handle but the handle on the shovel I received was different than the picture. I believe it is referred to as the D ring handle. Disappointed but overall the shovel is still good and is being tested quite frequently this winter.

Received wrong item. Doesn’t have the ergonomic handle which was why my husband wanted this one. Needed it now so we used it anyway. Works like a normal snow shovel.

This is an excellent shovel. Strong and ergonomically correct. If you are using a straight shafted shovel these days you are causing unnecessary stress to your back and arms.

This is going to sound like some of the other reviews because my experience is similar. I had a 14" (i believe) version of this for years. It broke after about 10 years of use and I was bummed. Could not find one anywhere. Well low and behold here it is on Amazon. THANK GOD! I love this shovel! I may have to buy another for the wife or we will be fighting over it. It will get some hours of work this winter with the winter we are having in NH this year..Oh and this shovel is light weight and does not have a metal blade which i prefer.I now have had 3 Garant shovels and think I will be sticking with them for a while.

I use this shovel to clean my stalls. I have stall mats so I rake away the dry shavings and this shovel gets up all the wet shavings perfectly. Light weight and very sturdy. Makes my life easier!
