I did not get this hook to remove manhole covers. I got this to help me move heavy things in my yard. Such as bricks and wood. It keeps me from having to lift them up to move them from one place to the other. I can drag them which is a lifesaver for my back.

There's not much you can say about a hook other than its built very sturdy and should have no problems opening manholes or drain grates.
