The product won't even turn on. the rechargeable battery might be completely dead. I'm not going to buy a new battery to see if it is the problem. Will send it back.

Don’t waste your time with cheaper radios. The qx7 has so many youtube videos about it that any issue you have can be searched and fixed easily. Make sure you protect the antenna, mine got a little bent but still works. Overall this is a solid radio and it is the last upgrade you have to get!

Two problems; plugging into PC draws too much power on all 6 of my systems. 2nd when plugged into AC adapter, seems current does not taper off when fully charged, or battery has a problem such that it does not charge properly.

This is the FrSky Taranis Qx7 Access, which is different from the FrSky Taranis Qx7. Any drones that use the D8 mode are NOT compatible with this model.Even though this thing looks identical to the old model, it is not the same. If you want to fly in D8 mode, you need to get an extra module that allows for it. The one I found cost me another $50.

I’ve flown the x9lite and before that the flysky cheap transmitter and was tired of horrible range and difficulty in getting long range modules to work properly. So in anger I decided on this one as my last time tarannis would see my money if it was junk. I was wrong. It’s a joy to use. No range issues. Built in charger (x9lite doesn’t have). My only complaint is that it’s a big transmitter. But easy trade for durability, range and features

I'm still new to the whole FPV world, as I had an EMAX Tinyhawk (v1). Finally had the time and wanted to start upgrading to more powerful drones.Everything works, would recommend watching tutorials to figure out how to set up the Q X7.
