I am a retired General Contractor . I purchased this product to install 300 square feet of oak flooring. The product worked flawlessly and I couldn’t be more satisfied with its quality.

Manufacturer’s defect and missing screw on the brad nailer head (see pic). Will not drive 18 gauge 1-1/2” staples into wood. Does drive up to 2” brad nails 95% of the time.Returning for refund.

DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE. Purchased this 4 months ago while remodeling my home and finally came time to do the flooring. Changed out the head to flooring and attempted to drive 1 1/2” crown staples. Out of 30 staples only one drove in all the way. The rest only went in about 5/8” into 1/2” engineered flooring/subfloor. Battery was completely charged, drive mechanism lubed, height adjustment were set for 1/2” flooring. The gun acts like it has no power to drive the staples, so I switched to the 1 1/4” staples that came with the gun still no luck. So I switched out the head to drive brad nails and still only drives the brad nail only halfway into a white wood 2x4. If it can’t drive a Brad into white wood then it’s junk. Unfortunately I’m past the return time and now have a $200 POC paperweight.

Frequently Jams. Used for 100 nails when it jammed the first time. You need to remove 4 Allen head screws to clear the jam. The plastic nose piece cheap plastic. When you reinstall the nose piece you may deform the plastic standoffs of the Allen screws. It will never work the same, it will constantly jam.

Works well with brads, but staples will not penetrate my 1" thick wooden sub-floor when nailing tongue and groove 5/8" hickory flooring.
