Get what you pay for.. In total. The umbrella works as it should but flimsy materials mean that one drop will cause an out of shape umbrella

Better quality light than the cheaper umbrellas I had. Only concern is the quality of the shaft, seems a little too light and one has bent already, but only because i knocked over a stand and the umbrella hit the floor, but saved the flash from being damaged.

There is not much that can go wrong with a Shoot Through Umbrella. The price is great, I haven't broken it yet, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I wanted to take my OCF work to new heights, but wanted to do so rather cheaply as I am still learning, and this umbrella certainly was up to the task. The umbrella does not look cheaply made, and during a shoot a gust of wind topped my light stand with umbrella attached, and dented the spokes. My friend, whom I was shooting, straightened them out, and we were good to go!Edited 8-13-2013:I purchased this umbrella on June 27th for $8.95 and less than two months later the price has gone up by over 36%!!!! It was a bargain, and good value for money, at $8.95, not so much at $12.17.

This is a pretty good umbrella. I would say that it is the best I own by far. I own five different umbrellas all of the inexpensive variety. This one is built very well and uses sturdy material and all of the attachment points are well put together. I'm very happy with this product and the price is out of this world, at least for this type of quality. I'll buy a few more of these for sure.

For the price? Are you kidding me?And I used them on some VERY windy situations. They're easy to bend if you step on them or squeeze them, but I expected them to collapse entirely in wind. No such luck... They're still extremely in tact on professional looking. Darn.... ;)

This is a nice modifier that I tried for the first time. It was very inexpensive so I thought it was worth trying out. It provides a nice diffuse light but also lets a little more light through than a purely reflecting umbrella. The ribs of the umbrella are thin so it is lightweight, but just a little frail if it falls over. I would recommend this product.

Pretty simple product, so it would have been difficult to get a bad rating. No build quality defects and the umbrella functionality works as expected.
