I have a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT 2WD with a column shifter.Originally, I thought the gear shift indicator was off and so I bought this part: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000NTLI86/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1. But upon looking at some online Ford forums, I deduced that it was a stretched cable.I took a panel off under the steering column to make it easy to replace, but it is such an easy repair.
