I had two of the Thompson type whip finishers and could never make them work without tearing the thread. This one is so much better. Everything else in the kit seems high quality. The scissors are smooth and sharp. The bobbin threader saves time. Glad I got this kit instead of just a finisher.

Perfect set of fly tying tools you can use on a majority of your fly tying needs. Very functional and clean looking, they work well and come in a handy storage case. Scissors are sharp and tools appear to be made of stainless steel so they should be rust resistant, time will tell. So far very satisfied.

I'm using this kit and so far I have no complaints with any of the tools. I would certainly buy this kit again!!
