The Fluke i1010 AC/DC current clamp is designed to extend the current ranges of Fluke tools and can take current readings without breaking the circuit. Battery-powered dual Hall-effect, clamp-on probe measures dc current from 1-1000A; AC current from 1-600A AC rms. Measures AC and DC current down to 1 amp with specified accuracy and is useable to 0.5A. Output is 1 mV per amp DC or AC. Jaws accept conductor size of 1 X 750 MCM ( 30 mm/1.18 in. diameter) or 2 x 500 MCM (2 x 25 mm/0.98"). AC and DC accuracy: +/- (2.0 percent of reading + 0.5A). Measurement type: Hall sensor. Nominal current range: 600 A AC, 1000 A DC. Continuous current range: 1 A - 600 A AC, 1 A - 1000 A DC. Maximum non-destructive current: 1000 A. Lowest measurable current: 0.5 A. Made in Thailand!? Seriously, at this price???If I wanted a meter made in the 3rd world, I could have gotten a Chinese one for maybe 20% of the cost of this one. I needed this immediately so I didn't return it, but I won't be buying anything else by Fluke for a long, long time. If I am to use junk tools, at least I'll get them cheap.

Works great with my dgital multi meter. Just keep in mind the cord is not replacable or removable. It is built in as is the banana jack. Would be nice if you could put on different connectors to attach maybe to a o-scope. This is a small detail that will not affect most people.
