I tried other tools before, like suction cups, but they didn't work. They would immediately detach when hit. This tool is more expensive but it was worth it.

Worked ok for the first surface I used it on, but the adhesive didn't work on any other surfaces once used.

I felt the cost is high. Almost $10 in shipping for a Prime member is too much and it took almost a week to get here. It came in no packaging or directions. That said, it works. Worked great.

The product did work, first make sure your floor is vacuumed and cleaned.The adhesive does pick up any particles left on the floor surface so make sure it’s clean.The strength of the adhesive isn’t as effective after multiple uses.Keep the plastic that covers the adhesive strip so you can put it back on after use.Overall double stick tape and a two by four might work just as good.

I do not normally write reviews, but this thing works. I easily repaired the gaps in my lvp floor.I reccomend you scan the QR code on the floor fixer and watch the how to YouTube video. At the end it will tell you to reapply the plastic that you peel off the bottom so sticky side can be protected. (I had to retrieve mine from the trash can, because, well, I'm a guy and did not watch the video first).I have lvp flooring with simulated wood grain, and this worked perfectly.

I have been using this for a forever textured floor. This works great unlike Suction cups do not work because the floor has small groves in the floor made to look like real wood grain. I cleaned the floor with a warm cloth and vacuumed the gaps. I stood on the floor gapper and took a solid plastic mallet and gave it a couple hits and the gap was gone. I would keep the plastic film that it comes with and put it back on when not in use, because dirt and debris will stick to it and eventually not stick. I can tell you it was worth every penny,I highly recommend it.

Recently installed large format luxury vinyl plank tile. Ran out of spacers and over several days tried using installation kit to align and eliminate gaps. Wasn’t until I saw this tapping block and video did I realize how much easier it was to remove minor gaps and misalignment of vinyl plank or tile. Remove clear cover from backside; step on rapping block; and tap with rubber mallet. Results are so awesome, and now I prefer this tool to the usual metal installation kits at discount stores which could damage tongue and grooves. This tapping block was a little pricey, but is definitely worth ever penny. If you have a vinyl floor to install or close up gaps… this is the tool you need.
