These do NOT feel like salon towels at all! I'm a Cosmetologist and have felt salon and used salon towels. They feel like the microfiber towels that people use to wash cars with, not use for hair or facials.

Microcloth towels and face cloths are highly absorbent and very soft to the touch. They air dry quickly and are not as bulky as cotton towels. We like ours a lot.
