I use a Beetle Spin almost every time I go out fishing. If it's a new body of water to me, I'll try that first. If it's a slow day on body of water I know well, I'll use it then as well. The beauty of this product is that you can attach almost any jig head you want to it that you already have. These blades are meant for fairly light tackle and lines, but big fish like small baits too! I think almost every freshwater species of fish will bite on these blades. All you have to do is add your own stuff to it that you probably have already. Plus changing it all out is easy if something isn't working.

I have bought spinners that stay together for 2 casts and done, but, these are working great, until I cast into branches in the water but thats more the user of than the actual product. Basic product with durability so far.

These are great little spinners, but you must note that they are small and somewhat fragile. I ordered 10 and then ordered 20 more. They are well worth the price you pay. After I lost a few blades I started pinching them a little tighter with a pair of needle nose pliers and problem solved. If you get seriously hung up, you'll probably lose them but that happens even with the highest quality spinners of this size. I suppose that's why you buy them in packs of 10. I would recommend them to anyone looking for spinners for crappie or bluegill baits. You are not paying bait store prices for these spinners and again, they are small and somewhat fragile, so don't expect something you can even slightly abuse. If I keep losing them, I'll keep buying them. This is a great deal.
