After a few weeks I am very happy with this product. The splint is well-sized as it protects the pinky finger of an average sized male. The velcro keeps it fitting tightly and permits normal activities with little inconvenience. It stays in place for the most part, with only one slippage during sleep. It provides support so that the finger, which has taken on an arthritis-related "S" shape, remains straighter and usable for several hours after the splint is removed. If the product maintains its usefulness for a few months, this review will be upgraded to five-star.

Arrived quickly packaged individually. Like these because they have strong stabilization. Having 4 is handy in case they get misplaced. Fit well on medium sized finger

I got these with the "expectation" of maybe needing to use them one day. Unfortunately, that day came. Slammed my finger in a door on the joint, causing it to swell. Was nice to have these around to keep it stable while it heals. It does the job of keeping my finger from bending, and it's super comfortable to wear, even with the swelling. Material on the skin is quite soft, no irritation whatsoever.

Repetitive index finger sprain. Too much mouse action at work. These fit perfectly. I use them to give my finger a rest after work. Comfortable to wear sleeping.

I like these as the work immediately in a pinch. The metal bar is sturdy and will hold your finger in place. The velcro straps works well and you can get a good tightening on the splint with them.I like that you can remove and replace the metal bar for cleaning.Great product to add to the emergency medical kit!

I think these splints could be a good choice for someone with recurring joint issues who gets relief from immobilization of the last two joints of a finger (and some compression) and is looking for a reusable option that they can easily put on and take off as needed throughout the day.On the box it says "Not recommended for thumb or kids fingers", which seems accurate. You could make it work in a pinch, but if you were ordering something specifically for those cases there are probably better options.For me, they fit well on any of my fingers. On my thumb the fit is a bit awkward and it only immobilizes the last joint.The flat aluminum bar stays where it belongs, but can be removed for cleaning. It can be bent by hand if you want to adjust it to a more relaxed curve, but it's easier with tools, especially if your hands are hurting.If I had one thing to complain about, I'd say neoprene isn't particularly breathable, although it is durable and hygienic.
