This is a really good set for the price. Just be aware that the tools are a little bit short for some wood stoves. Our wood stove takes a 20 inch log so these are a bit short for us.The tools seem to be pretty solidly build though. Most parts are riveted or welded together. I thought the handles were pressed in but they are screwed in. Some loctite will take care of this. If you do not put loctite on the threads, you do run the risk of damaging them over time.Other than this this is a nice, complete kit for the wood stove.It even comes with a decent phillips screwdriver and a small wrench for assembly of the tools.

This is a decent little set of fireplace tools. They do look nice sitting next to the fireplace. They feel fairly solid, though they're not the heaviest ones I've used.I don't like how short the poker is. All the tools are the same length, and to get the poker behind a log in the back, I practically have to have my hand in the fire. Also, the poker's handle is a bit loose and spins freely. I can unscrew it completely, but when I screw it in, it never tightens down, just goes around and around.Aside from that though, this is a good set. I like the log grabber tool, which doesn't come in some sets, but is very useful.For the money, I'd say this is just about right, except for the failings of the poker.
