Excellent replacement for battery disconnect on my tractor. It's not an original equipment item but an add on. It lives a tough life outside . Glad to see a semi-American made product.

Excellent build quality! I've bought many other disconnect switches on here, and this one is by far the best. It's a little pricey compared to others but don't waste your time with the cheap ones. This is a one and done switch. Each time you flip this disconnect on you feel important! Great spring pressure for a quick solid power on.

** Added Several Photos in SEP 2023: The first is of the of the overall project - Soundstream amps and NVX capacitors. Next is the Optima Yellow Top D35 power source up front that NOW does not ever need to have its nearby fuse removed in order for me to do work in the trunk!!! And last but not least is the Fastronix 500A, seen in the background between the amps and the caps, cooly keeping things safe and conveniently accessible midships (i.e., the switch is easily reached through the back seat or trunk). **I had been considering a heavy-duty battery disconnect for quite some time. But I wasn't too serious about it until I recently needed to do some mods to an elaborate car audio system in the trunk.I needed a reliable, bullet-proof, over-built way to:1) "Unequivocally-no doubt about it" disconnect the car audio system from the battery - without having to pull an in-line fuse in the engine compartment, or disconnect the cable on the battery, or rely on some lesser part that was not up to par, or just not-very-wisely disconnect the power cable in the trunk and wrap it in a shop cloth or plastic bag, etc... and2) Install and use the battery disconnect in the trunk to stop positive power flow to the audio system AND accommodate a cigarette lighter port so I can trickle charge the battery without having to open the hood or use the console cigarette port up front which is powered off by a relay after 15-minutes of the vehicle being off. After receiving the battery disconnect and taking a first look and feel of it, I knew it was going to be an easy and effective solution. After getting the battery disconnect position and cable run designs down pat, I set aside a couple hours to get it installed. After mounting it, I gave it a turn or two just to get a sense of the tension. I was rewarded with a bruised knuckle as the switch/handle combo had no affinity for a neutral position... it slams itself properly into the open or closed position... trying to balance it in a neutral position is not going to succeed. Excellent! In use? Well... just... Wow! What a solid, essential but unobtrusive piece of wizardry this switch is!! It has been of use already for a number of routine jobs. The ability to just turn a handle and turn off power supply to my car audio system, for whatever reason, is a necessity and convenience I wish I'd pursued many, many years ago.It is easy to see its use for a hot cable that got laid on a fender by mistake. And for a hobbyist such as myself, who owns a car audio system which has hot capacitors and other pieces of equipment that just can't be replaced very easily after some catastrophic blunder, like... I don't know, burning down the car... this is a miracle, must-have, should-have-had-by-now device.Add to that the fact I can now remove the car audio system, especially the capacitors, from the battery circuit and use the connected cigarette lighter port to send unimpeded (i.e., not thwarted by a relay) trickle charge to battery... well, let's just say that is an incredible bonus!!(Note: The cigarette lighter port design was simple: attach cigarette lighter port Y-cable positive to Fastronix battery disconnect positive - hot upstream, cold downstream when battery disconnect is in "open" position. Next, connect cigarette lighter port Y-cable negative to audio system common ground on the body.)
