These are beautiful, high quality ceiling fan blades. But unfortunately, I received the wrong blades. I ordered 30" whiskey and received 24" black. Additionally, the small packets of dessicant granules were torn and the granules were all over the bottom of the box and spilled out onto my floor. The box is clearly labeled as black blades for a 48" fan so this was a pretty careless shipment error. The black color is really nice and I would have kept the blades if the length was correct.

fan blades look nice and match the fan motor, but don't move enough air

I love the look of these fan blades. They are real wood and have clean lines without being too modern. The color is definitely white washed and not gray as the photo indicates. It gives the room a modern coastal look. Very nice.

These blades definitely make the fan. As far as I am aware these blades are specifically for the Fanimation Spitfire fan, so that is the fan I am referring to in this review. (Please reference my overall review on the Fanimation Spitfire fan for a more wholistic review of the complete product.)I really like the way the blades add a look of overall quality to the fan. The blades are relatively lightweight and well constructed. As far as I can tell, each blade is constructed from a solid piece of wood. There are 3 blades included in the set along with a metal cap, painted to match the finish of the blades. The cap is used in lieu of a light assembly. If you like an aviation inspired look, then these blades along with the Famination Spitfire fan assembly should be considered. I purchased the natural colored blade to go with the brushed nickel fan housing. The blades, as well as the fan assembly, are a bit pricey, but you can find them discounted as I did from time to time. You can also forgo the optional lighting module to cut down on the overall cost of the fan.The only thing that I might ding the blades on is that if you don't purchase the optional lighting module, then you have to use the metal cover plate. The cover plate is painted to match whatever color blades you purchase, but they don't match completely if the blades are a natural finish. This may be a don't care for most people once the fan is mounted. I purchased the lighting module and while I think the light module is expensive for what it is and could have been better manufactured, I do believe that it looks better on the completed fan despite the fact that I never use it.

The color of the blades is amazing. The blades are very light and installing them on the fan (sold separately) was a breeze. I love the fan and the blades. The look of the blades is very cool. Many people have said "I love your fan!".

Even though this fan is MUCH more expensive than others, this is indeed real wood and the finish is top notch. I was looking for craftsman / Mark Twain stylings in my home and nothing else fit the bill.

Exactly what I wanted. The wood def looks "painted" but it's still a very nice fan and blade set.
