This is an excellent bore cleaner. It reduced the time it normally takes to clean my shotgun. Easy, no mess and thoroughly cleaned the bore.

When purchased I didn’t know there was a wire section on the rope. But it cleans my CZ like a charm! A bit hard to feed up barrel as the rope is not ridged like the bore snake brand.

These are so much nicer than the more expensive name brand. I mean the concept is simple what makes these nicer is that the weight on the end to pull them through the bore is much heavier and it just goes through like butter. With with products like this it's no wonder that I really go to Wally world anymore you get a better product on Amazon this product is well made the brushes look durable in my opinion and it's cheap. I could not imagine you being disappointed with this highest recommendation for me anyway

These slide through the barrel of a 12 gauge perfectly and have the right composition to quickly give the inside a complete clean and buff. I have used this several times and it performs excellent.

I bought the .22 + .30 pack and they work great! I don't think they'll ever replace my rod and patch kit but they work good for rifles where getting a rod through the breach is impossible without removing the barrel, such as alot of .22 semi autos. Once you get the hang of getting the brass weight down the barrel it's as easy as pulling it through a few times with solvent and then lube on the last pull or 2. God for a quick clean after shooting if you're not feeling the rod and patch process. I was skeptical the .22 was actually going to fit, it was snug, but it did despite some reviews. Worth buying a few to have around.

I forgot my regular cleaning kit, while traveling out of state, and these were the quickest/cheapest option to keep my bores clean.Do I also have larger name-brand snakes (that have other desirable features? Yes.Do I now have a cheap snake set I can loan/give to friends? Yes.Will these wear out faster than my other snakes? Probably. I can see wear/fraying already. There's always a trade-off
