I needed a wire spool holder for my work truck. This paper towel holder looked beefy enough and it actually worked for me. I had to drill new dowel rod holes to accommodate my larger spools but it definitely handles the weight and makes life for me really easy to unspool wire for a job.

I wish I had done this years ago. Quality product, well made and should last forever. I purchased the black powder coated one to match my toolbox. A few others have said the edges were not deburred and sharp. Mine is perfectly deburred. I had to drill new mounting holes because the inside of the Craftsman toolbox has structure front and rear that mounts the drawer slides, so I had to move the mounting holes inward. Information for the mounting holes change: the left hole 1/2" toward center, the right hole 1-1/2" toward center. I had to use a little muscle to spread the ears more to allow the roll bar to slip in and out without force.

Item arrived on time and as described. It is a heavy duty bracket designed for shop/garage use. Paper towel rolls won’t come flying off when you pull them. I’m very happy with the purchase and will be buying a couple more in the near future.👍👍

I will never understand garage-oriented towel holders that don't intentionally lock in the towel roll. This one does. That's important in a garage when you're trying to grab a towel while holding a heavy car part in one hand and drinking a beer with the other.
