We have a Belgian Shepard. At 8 months is weighs just under 80 pounds. The barrier has worked in our ancient suv for three months now without failing. So is it as good as our old pole barrier we used to have to keep the dog from jumping the seat? Nope. But it does the trick for about 40$ less in cost.

I should have gotten this sooner. I have two golden retrievers that I take in my car almost every day. They sit in the second row of my car and my one dog always tries to come up front while I’m driving. This barrier is already helping with that problem and it was super easy to install!

Did not expect this to work as well as it does. Easy to fit, easy to put together - and also to remove when I want to put the seat down. Folds nicely. Happy with this.

My 5 year old Springer Spaniel suddenly developed a phobia of the car and wanted to ride on my lap. Even double buckled in the back seat, she managed to get to the front. The first solution was for her to ride in a kennel in the back seat, but I was also getting a foster dog and needed to figure out how to transport them both. This car barrier safely keeps the dogs in the back. I had to play around with the configuration to make it fit my Mazda CX-30, but it's working nicely.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Super easy to install and with the pieces coming separately you are able to make it fit exactly how your car is designed. Withstands my very hyper dog (73kg)bouncing off of it when she first gets in and have not shifted or called what so ever

I have a German sheppard and she hates the car she is not a fan of this gate but it keeps her and my son safe while she's tries to get out of the back of the suv. Was not easy to install on my own needs 4 hands to hold up .The brackets that hold the side pcs don't work well and rotate due to my dog trying to claw it down. I zip tied the brackets in place and it works well now have to use the fold on the inside of the car as my dog rubs against the gate and can push it in used the other way. But when used correctly it's awesome. Was great for the cost metal withstands alot from my pup. Works on my tuscon and a good size for a car if you didn't use the extra pcs. I had to buy velcro elastic strap to attach to the center head rest for extra hold up.dollarama has them.

My dog will not sit in the back if the car is empty... Not for 2 minutes. I got this barricade, it was somewhat intuitive to install but the instructions were helpful. I put it in and my dog can not jump to the front anymore.

We bought this for our Ford Edge - Our 60 lb Pitbull has anxiety if he is left alone in the car - and has damaged the back doors... So by caging him in the back - he stays in his own area, and doesn't jump all over the kids in the back seat! It's much safer for us all.

Own a 2016 mazda cx5, it fit very nice. Assembly was easy, just measure the size of vehicle per instructions, put together. Install needed 2 people in order to get it tight. My biggest complaint is mine came with a couple of the bars weld undone. Its usuable as is, but makes me question for how long.

Fits great in my 2013 ford escape! It keeps my 80lb & 40 lb labrador retriever puppies in a secure location while driving. It was easy to install and it's very sturdy. I would highly recommend this. My dogs are under 7 months, so very hyper and this barrier holds in place.

This product is sturdy, however I bought it for a 2011 jeep liberty which is a very small vehicle. I had to rig it on the sides because my 80 pound German Shepherd could still push through on each side and get up front!!
