Extremely happy with the ODE WIII! Previously used a USB DMX - the ODE allowed me to switch to ArtNet and it was so easy. Really just plug and play. While I had A/C close by, I love that PoE is an option. The unit is very light weight making installation simple.I am not a lighting professional I used this for highschool theatre where students run the tech. Adding the ODE has simplified the workflow and reduced the number of components we need to think about.

I just want to let people know if you are having an issue with your lights dropping dmx signal every 120 seconds make sure you turn off RDM mode on on the DMX universe you are having the issue. I spent a few hours trying to debug my friends lighting system to track this down. Enttec mentions on page 5 of the Enttec ODE MK3 manual: “Enttec recommends disabling RDM if your fixtures do not require it. Some older fixtures that support the DMX 1990 Specification can behave erratically when RDM packets are on the DMX line. “ After I disabled RDM in the Enttec ODE setup configuration everything worked flawlessly.
