I have great oil pressure and the right flow of oil to the engine compartment and back to the pump.

I have a 2015 Chevy van with the 4.8 V8. It received a new cam, lifters, gaskets, etc. It runs very smooth and has 255k miles on it. The oil pressure was low. It was only 20 psi at cold start and then dropped to 10 psi when warm. This pump with the same oil weight I've been using (5w-30 full synthetic) jumped it to 50 psi when cold and 30 psi when warm! This high volume AND high-pressure pump is key!

Had low oil pressure at hot idle, installed pump as it came and now have 24psi at hot idle, 70psi cold idle, and up to 65 psi WOT when engine is hot. Did a ton of research before purchasing this pump, glad I did! Worked exactly as promised. Recommend 100%

Well, this is going to help, but it's not your problem.6.0 iron block guys, check your pickup tube o-ring first and change your oil to 15w40. If you're getting sub-20psi hot idle oil pressure, your cam bearings are shot. This pump won't fix low oil pressure at idle. That's not it's purpose. It will however give you 50+ psi just off idle and is consistent, if you use the COPO Camaro spring that's included in a separate bag.LQ4 owners, you WILL need to slightly lower the oil pan in every application to do this job by itself. Your pickup tube doesn't have the cheesy welded flange that you can easily turn around on all other LS engines. You need to drop the pan about 1" to gain access to the pickup tube bolt. I didn't remove the oil pan bolts, just loosened to their max and dropped the pan slightly. With 5w30 oil using the COPO spring on a 265k mile LQ4 with worn cam bearings, the engine will attain 20 psi at hot idle and 50+ psi above that.Same engine using 15w40 will net 35-37 psi hot idle and 50+ psi above idle. The pressure regulator is set to somewhere between 50 and 55 psi.All thsi being said, my LQ4's bottom end is healthy. The only problem I know of is cam bearings worn out of spec causing low oil pressure. This oil pump will help if you use the right combination of oil and pump regulator spring.

2008 Chevy Suburban: I read other reviews before buying it that's why I bought this one instead of the ACDelco, the performance is below the original ACDelco. I'm sorry (vendors), but to me this is what happened.

Producto en buen estado, la caja un poco desgastada doblada pero sin daño al producto, probablemente es cosa de la paquetería, en general todo bien, todo viene completo! Lo recomiendo.

Package had everything Included for the install of the oil pump. I did have to purchase an additional gasket kit for the front cover and water pump. I did install a new water pump at the same time since I have a 130000 miles on this motor. I was on a road trip when the factory oil pump failed, the relief valve stuck open. It did free up when I ran some Marvel Mystery Oil in the motor , but I went ahead and replaced the pump anyway. I attached pictures of what the factory pump was giving me for psi and has from day one. I used to see 28 psi to 25 psi range at full temp in the winter months. It is the HD package the PSI was always on the low side due to the oil cooler. After install of the oil pump at full temp I'm seeing close to 40psi Temperatures are also running a little cooler because of the new water pump and a complete coolant flush, along with that I went with a 180 degree t-stat . All in all very happy with this oil pump, I did just install it. I don't have any mileage on it yet but I'm sure it'll hold up Melling is known for quality products. I'm confident it'll hold up to the test of time. Overall the install took me 2 days but I did run into some snags. Around 8 hours per day, I did skip dropping the oil pan and front differential to get to the bolt that holds the collector in. I was able to work that bolt out at first I used a bent 10 millimeter wrench to get it loose. Then I tied some fish string to it and backed it out the rest of the way with a hook tool. Took a lot of patience but it worked. When I reinstalled it I put that bolt in the hole that's more accessible, I added a washer so it would push the tube into the oil pump, and used a lot of red Loctite.
