Installed these bushings to eliminate the sloppy steering these trucks have. Truly feel like these made a huge difference in how the truck responds and well worth the effort of installation.

I'm aware this bushing set is for an 05-13 Toyota Tacoma. However, the dimensions of the bushings themselves are identical to the bushings used on 2002 Highlanders. I needed to replace the loose steering rack bushings of our 2002 Highlander but since they're not supposed to be replaceable, there are no replacement parts available. Well, with enough effort the steering rack bushings of 02 Highlanders can actually be removed and replaced with these Energy 8.10106G. No modification required. Just good old elbow grease.

Good high quality bushings. It didn’t look like they would fit right, but after finally getting the factory bushings out they fit just fine. The factory bushings were a chore to remove.

Used a ball joint fork to pry the bottom one out then tap the top one out with a 15mm socket and replace.Tightens up the steering and feels like a new truck

I was so looking forward to getting these installed and getting more balanced steering, however these did just the opposite. Very sloppy, and they allow little resistance to road conditions. Would not recommend these. Go OEM as they are so much better.
