Concept is good, but the whole thing will move back and forth while I stitch. I've got it set up with the base tucked under the couch so it won't move, but the pole itself sort of flexes somewhat. It's also hard to get to stay in certain positions no matter how much I tighten the adjusters. It works, but not as well as I'd hoped.

I have been using for a couple months. I bought it because I wanted to see if a stand was something I would use before spending the money for one of the more expensive ones. For the price it is a good deal. It takes some getting used to but works well and does the job it’s supposed to. I do have to tighten the screws and parts often but it is not a big issue. If you are expecting quality like the more expensive brands, this is not the one, but it is great for the price and I will continue to use it.

Couple of issues with this. One of the parts doesn’t tighten as it should and just spins around and around. Not sure if it’s faulty or just a bad design.It’s also top heavy. It falls over all the time unless I put something on it to anchor it. Wouldn’t recommend buying.

Tried to set it up on my left and every time I attach my hoop it let’s go. Very frustrating. It’s happened on the right as well. Piece of junk

I had previously purchased one similar that screwed into a table. It was inconvenient because the table was always in the way and when I saw this design, I thought I’d give it a try. It worked out beautifully! It’s very stable and holds my embroidery so that I can free my hands to do in and out work. I highly recommend it.

This stand is wobbly, flimsy and stiff. It does not hold my cross stitch pattern still so I can work. I want to return it, but unfortunately the return window closed yesterday. 🙄 I am now stuck with a brand new, boxed item that I will never use.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get my cross stitch close enough. I have short arms and bad eye sight, so I need my work to be pretty close to my face. This floor stand over exceeds my needs! I am extremely happy! The only things I can fault are:1. the weighted bottom could be a little heavier. It isn’t tippy with my smaller projects, but I think it might be with larger ones. This is not a deal breaker for me. I can always put a book or two on it. The rest of it is so good, I just don’t care.2. The assembly instructions are crap! Fortunately, I have put together many items, so I figured it out, but it took a while!Don’t let that stop you from buying this, especially for needlework. It’s perfect!

This has the flexibility for me to sit in any chair and embroidery without hanging onto the hoop. Being a quilter, I know how handy that is. This is going to to work well for me.There was difficulty putting it together because there was no instructions. If it wasn't for an incomplete video, I'm not sure it would have come together. The video was not slow and is the "photo" for this project. My other concern is the springs. Springs loose their strength over time. So this may not be a lasting solution. If that happens, I'll get an all wood one.If your hands are very weak, you will have to get someone else to attach your hoop.
