My son wanted this so bad and we finally ordered it for him!! He loved it but in less than a week it blew apart and could have seriously hurt him!!! 🤬... Mind you he is 17 years old so he isn't a small child or anything..... Would not recommend this at all!!!!!

first off, i love this little airsoft gun not only is it durable it has a slide lock feature which looks really cool, but be sure whenever you cock the gun u press down on the little level and the left side of the gun or else the hood and stuff will come out, bbs. i have used this in a game with 20 gram bbs just fine, i wouldn’t use it at a outdoor field for performance. Now lastly, performance it shoots 195 fps with 20 gram bbs and 246fps with 12 gram i would use 20gram so it dosent hop up as much, all in all great springer

My son was super excited with this product. Until about 40 min later. A plastic part that asks as the firing pin broke. It wasn't dropped. Misused or abused an pop. It was useless. Guess I'll have to look for a different product.

Bought this for $23. For that, I can't expect it to have perfect accuracy or shoot from a million feet away. It does feel a little flimsy and you need to be a little careful when you rack the slide to reload a pellet and prime the spring for the next shot. If I break mine in a short period of time I'll update the review, but I was able to shoot a bunch of shots at a target from about 12 feet away and stay mostly accurate. I tried again from 20 and it was much less so.

Just received this yesterday in a timely manner (thanks Amazon!). Then I was stupid and broke the gun after 2 shots.I have a return/replacement order that I realized I don't need because I fixed the problem, but there's no ability to cancel it. However, I'm not entirely disappointed with the idea of getting two of these. The fact that it comes with two magazines is really good value. I can't measure the 300 fps but it put some dents in the cardboard box it came in (not shown). I would recommend this. But not for kids. You need to have some care when using it, and the really cool firing mechanism has the ability to easily pinch fingers.I broke it because I didn't bother reading the instructions. The first cliche with this pistol, is that the gun is a typical spring cock-and-fire type pistol, with two limiting features (or special features, depending on how you look at things). There is a safety catch built into the weapon, made of metal (the trigger and ejection mechanism are also made of painted gun metal). It will hold the pistol in an open chamber or primed position until you click the latch (the place where most airsoft spring pistols usually have a safety) down and that's when you hear a satisfying click as the chamber closes. Failure to close the top part using the latch means that your gun can break apart - like it did with me. The latch will lurch the top part of the slide forward if you try firing it while the chamber is still open and instead of firing bbs, your gun will starting eating them (it may end up eating bbs, regardless though). To fix this, you will need to take something slim and heavy (a metal compass worked for me) and pull the latch back into it's proper position. It spat out the bbs once i did this and started working smoothly. So, don't do a refund until you have worked on the gun yourself, and don't work on the gun until you have read the instructions. Unless if you think you know how everything works. The gun is best used as a prop. The cocking mechanism is highly realistic, even showing the inner chamber when primed. If you can spray paint the plastic inside the chamber a brass color, it will look like a real bullet is in the chamber when primed. Very good theatric quality. (Edit: you may need to add a few extra details in order to make the plastic look realistic enough, though it will pass if people are far enough away).Edit: used this in a small plinking fight between my brother. Noticed two small problems and three good features with this weapon.First off, I just want to say that my return order was successfully cancelled, so no worries about that. I'll probably end up buying another one later on if the price is still just under $20.The second thing to note is that in my previous paragraph, I did not know how the primed chamber mechanism worked. But it turns out that the slide will naturally move into a primed position if you are on your last bullet or if the chamber is empty. That means that the pistol will let you know when you are on your last bullet, or if you are dry! It also means that once you load in a new mag, the pistol will already be cocked and ready for firing. Also, you can move back the slide and lift up the primed chamber mechanism and it will allow you to keep the slide back at any time you like. It can be useful for unjamming your gun, display, and just feeling cool when you hear a satisfying "click".A problem I noticed is that the magazine springs are too strong, and if you aren't careful, you can "fire" your entire magazine when reloading because the spring will launch them all before you get it into your pistol. Try to load slowly (I'm sure everyone can remember to load slowly in the middle of a firefight). Also, try to limit the number of rounds per reload until you are comfortable with loading (this limits the loss of bbs).A good feature with this weapon is that there is a bright red plastic bit on the top slide that sticks out when the pistol is armed and is hidden when the pistol is not primed. It's not intrusive or distracting and it lets you know if you need to re-cock the slide or if it is already loaded.A potential problem with the pistol I located is the very cool but very problematic open area on the slide. This is designed to let you see your bullets as you load them, but as I said before, it is a potential pinching hazard and the design is not good. If you are shaking too much when reloading, the chamber will start feeding more bbs into the slide, which limits your actual magazine capacity and it makes your magazine very inefficient as your excess bbs start rattling inside your weapon. You can't access them until you eject the magazine and shake the gun, alternatively it can make your gun jam in a firefight. I haven't found a way around this yet, other than to not tilt the weapon when re-cocking it (otherwise gravity pulls more bbs out of the magazine), and to limit shaking the weapon when reloading. There is a also a safety feature, a small knob that can turn the weapon from fire to safety mode. Very small, at first it is hard to turn, but after "breaking" it in, it will be much easier and prevents the weapon from being used by other klutzes.Magazine can load 80 rounds or so, I guess, but it is harder to reload the mag if you have too many bbs in the pistol dump. The magazine can theoretically hold 14 rounds in the mag chamber, but that amount can just as easily be kicked out by the powerful spring in the magazine (maybe use it as an impromptu machine gun on unsuspecting victims? Maybe that's why they give you two mags!). Realistically, you can only hold 6-7 ROUNDS IN THE MAGAZINE CHAMBER WITHOUT HAVING LOADING TROUBLES. If you try more, you WILL have loading troubles. I highly recommend that you try breaking in the spring by keeping it coiled up or by slightly heating it or in some way softening up the power, otherwise, you cannot expect to use more than 6 rounds of .12 g BBs (you may be more successful with heavier BBs, but probably not by much. Which is what everyone has been silently complaining about with this gun.In fact, that's probably the source of most of the negative comments on this gun. It is NOT an intuitive gun at all to use, and NOT for beginners. All that in mind, I see amazing potential for this weapon. I think that the open area on the slide is pretty cool, but that feature isn't really useful in real airsoft fights and is best for cosplay. I would prefer this gun even more if it kept all its features but removed the open area on the slide. The pinching hazard is hard to avoid even in firefights. Other than that, it is a good amateur airsoft pistol, very satisfying to use. I wouldn't recommend it for kids below 10-12, or any airsoft beginners, though, because of how unreliable and unwieldy the slide mechanism can be for players new to airsoft. It's a great second pistol to get, though, and it beats most cosplay because of its realistic look and feel and realistic actions.
