I like these resistors, but they are difficult, if not impossible to read. First, the colors are off, red looks brown. And where did this 5 band color identification come from? Is this China's version? I've been using the 4 band color code for 60 years and this is the first time for the 5 band.On the plus side, the resistors are arranged nicely in 3 boxes with individual compartments of snap locking covers. The 3 boxes arrived in one slim box that can't be opened to spill out because of the snugness of all boxes. Mine arrived with nothing opened to spill out. There are (20) each 1/2 watt resistors in each compartment, and they should remain there for easy identification. The 3 boxes can be put on a shelf like books, or just stacked on a shelf.

Love the storage case for these - if they made the case blank, I'd buy a million of them.Other than that, it's your basic resistors - as advertised, although I dislike the blue background (I know it's a standard) with the color bands - makes it hard for my eyes to pick up colors.

i can't speak for the components themselves, as i've only used one resistor so far (which worked fine), but the cases all organized, and individual lids to keep everything separate and in it's place. well labeled, making for quick easy identification, love it. this is way better than my mixed clear top with everything mingling together, and having to sort through a wad of resistors to find the one i need

This is a fantastic product. Good value, quality resistors, etc. But I can not say enough about the organizational cases they come in. Simply fantastic. I like how each value is clearly displayed and shows an image of the banding for each as well as their power rating. The convenience of going right to the value you need and opening It’s compartment, rather than sifting through a bin with several values, can not be overstated. This is a quality product and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I will be ordering these kits through them exclusively going forward.

Bought this resistor assortment for electronic equipment repairs. Very useful, and the plastic case is labelled for each resistor value.

I'm not going to gush on every single one of these kits, my fingers would get tired, so I'll gush on this one but it applies to pretty much all of the EEEEE kits. Not only does one get a decent number of parts, but the magic here is the labeling and convenience of each of the compartments which include not only exactly what the part is, but also the resistor color codes, numerical codes, and so forth which makes putting parts back into the kit or restocking the kit a breeze. Because I aint gonna remember the part numbers perfectly.This saves my normal drawers for more specialized parts. I was using every drawer before and now I'm only using 1/3rd of the drawers because I've moved as much as I could into the EEEEE compartments on top of the parts it came with. These things are worth it just for that alone.
