Obvious Chinese product. Can’t install out of the bag. The threaded hole in the cross bar is filled with hard plastic and there’s bags between the two sectors of each bar for shipping, effectively locking them together. Not satisfied. I guess that’s what I get for cheaping out .

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Have my 50lb kayak up there. No real issues, just when there is no load on them, makes a howling sound at highway speeds.

These bars come with a plastic bit that you need a hex wrench to get out. The problem is, these plastic bits are weak, and almost always come broken. Both heads of mine were broken off, which means I now have the joy of trying to find a way to remove them from their threading.I'm sure all roof bars come the same way, so there's no point trying to find a different set, these are fine otherwise.Heavy, sturdy, all the good things, just with someone's ridiculous idea to put these plastic bits in first.

Had to modify the clamping part as it didn't fit my gutter style - a few solid hits with a hammer and now it attaches well

Heavier built than expected. There's a plastic set screw on the bars but there are metal proper replacements in the package as a heads up. Had to drill hole higher than the pre sets for my van but that was half expected due to how my van is shaped. So far very happy

The product arrived damaged. The packaging was not sufficient.We waiting to post a review to see how the roof racks held up over time.It has been a month and they are already rusting. We haven't even attached anything to them yet. The factory paint is just chipping off on its own.Today I went to undo the clamp bolts to move the racks closer together, and a 1/4 of the way through unscrewing the bolt it snapped and the head flew past my face.Just bad quality all around. Would not purchase again.We needed a cheap and easy solution to get us through a few months until we could get solid ones, and they haven't even lasted that long.Frustrated and disappointed

I needed a roof rack to attach my 2 100W solar panels to on the roof of my Chevy Express van. They have 3 (maybe 4) settings for height and I put the panels on the lowest setting which makes them almost invisible from onlookers. Had a problem with the bolts not being so I went to HD to replace them for a few bucks. They are easily adjustable. With a step ladder, I was able to put them up myself and adjust them to my needs - I put up 4(2 sets). They do not move once secured.
