My dog likes to play sword fight, but he’s rough and the other play swords we’ve purchased don’t last too long. This one is heavy and solid. He has a bit of a hard time picking it up, and he’s put some dents in it with his teeth, but it seems very sturdy. If the rest of you are using this for full-size humans, it should be perfect.

This sword fights into my belt loop really well, slides out well and seems tough enough for our training needs. Hopefully it will hold up if a horse steps on it.

All in all a good sword, especially for the price. It is good quality and durable. The balance is a bit off, but understandable for a toy. A typical sword balance point in about 3 inches from the bottom of the blade, while this one is about 5 inches. Realistic weight, it looks amazing, and swings pretty well. Comfortable handle and good length.TLDR, good sword. Would recommend

If you’re here looking at this for a costume or prop RUN AWAY. AS FAST AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get any coat of paint to stick to this. No matter what efforts you take to sand it or prime it or prepare the surface in any way whatsoever, it just peels or chips right off. Just an absolute money pit and a source of incredible frustration. Avoid at all costs.

The sword looks cool but is bent just enough that it feels awful to swing. Feeling the bend everytime it rests in my hands it feels like a pickaxe swinging it one way, and a floppy foam sword the other way. Could just be the shipping or whatever other reason. Not directly blaming the manufacturer. Came in pretty horrible quality.

Is a very nice sword, easy to spar safely with, however the handle is for a bastard sword, not for a broadsword, which causes the pommel to occasionally hit my wrist when sparring, overall good production but slightly flawed design.
