Eastern Jungle Gym’s Heavy-Duty Tire Swivel comes pre-greased and ready to use! Our heavy-duty tire swivel is designed to attach a tire swing to a wooden swing beam and allows for 360 degree spinning and tons of fun. Our tire swivel is galvanized, made of heavy-duty steel and includes a grease fitting for regular periodic lubrication. It also features two pre-drilled holes for easy attachment to a wooden swing beam. We recommend using thru-bolts or lag bolts to mount our tire swivel; mounting hardware is not included as the size of the hardware will depend on the size of the swing beam that is being used.

Complete with ball bearings and hardened steel ball, this tire swivel allows for 360 degree fun! Mounting hardware is not included. If attaching to a 4x6 beam, 2 - 6 1/2" x 3/8" Hex Bolts are recommended.

We put this up sometimes after Christmas and My daughter swings almost constantly on a seated rope swing from our big oak tree. She went through 3 ropes before we found this. Honestly I think it could have used more grease but even if it was better lubricated she almost wore through the ring. If your kid isn't swinging in a circle 90% of their time, it may work great for you!

I use this for a new tire swing and it works well. Spinning 360 and a little back and forth. The kids enjoy the new swing.

We live in a log cabin with a large log beam across the length. Our grandson has a swing mounted to it and loves to swing different directions. No matter what else we tried there have always been problems with breaking (sometimes resulting in a hard landing on the floor) or squeaking. This is just what we've been looking for! It's strong and (with a little grease added), quiet!

I used this item to hang a horizontal tire swing from a branch. It has proven to be very strong. I like that I can grease it, as the swing sees much use. I drilled out the mounting holes in order to use sturdy 7 inch lag bolts into the branch. Several months on, I am still pleased with the purchase. Worth every cent.

Needed a swing for my 2 year old toddler (About 30ish lbs). I attached a Little Tikes Swing to this swivel, which I bolted to the good frame of my deck ceiling. It was rock solid and secure. I didn't feel it was ever degrading even after several winters and some pretty wild swing rides. Only thing to remember it keep it well greased using a grease gun. Without it, it can have some jerky motion. But that's normal a sturdy metal on metal swivel like this. Well maintained, this is an excellent product. In fact, buying another one for the new house we moved into, and we'll be using it in the basement attached to the floor joists. Only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because its not 100% maintenance free. But it definitely does what it needs to do.

We had a basket chair hanging from the ceiling of our front porch. I had used a large eye bolt to attach the chair to a ceiling rafter. It became a favorite destination for reading a book, catching up on email, etc but after a short time, the wind and less observant swingers spin the chair and cause the eye bolt to unscrew itself from the ceiling. After several (unsuccessful) attempts to screw the eye bolt back into the ceiling more securely, I eventually removed the chair and stowed it in the attic.I saw this on Amazon one night, decided to try again and it worked! The chair now spins freely and stays put. Wish I'd done this a long time ago.

Work very well! These come pre-greased, which is really a non-issue as they are easy to grease. They come with a zerk to put the grease in, but you do not need it - you can easily grease it with your finger if you want. They are very sturdy and are working great for us. They aren't perfectly smooth, but not grinding or rough either. Good price, working well. Five stars...
