Just installed the new axle on my Polaris Sportsman 500. Installation was easy and the new axle slid right in as expected. It’s too soon to say how well it holds up but so far it’s working great.

CV axle fit my 2012 sportsman 500 perfect, and was even heavier duty than the Polaris axle.

Well built. Perfect replacement. No issues installing.Purchased these because I had a torn CV boot. First bought the boot and repaired it but broke a circlip when replacing the axle which turned into 3 weeks of downtime. Next machine that needed a boot, I bought these and replaced the whole axle. It was easier, faster, and therefore cheaper (the boot was about $10 shipped) to replace the whole assembly and get back on the road than playing with all the grease and clamps. Repairing the old one with no time pressure means I'll have a spare.I had misgivings about buying these because they were literally less than half of the price of the OEMs. They fit and work. Period. I don't baby the 4 wheelers and have been using these for many months and they have not let me down.

Great buy. I am very hard on my atv's and these seem to last. The only time they break is when I know damb well that nothing should be able to withstand what they're being put through. East Lake is very good about getting you a warranteed replacement quick. Then just send the broken one back after you receive the new one.

This is a quality machined part that far exceeds the manufacturers original construction piece. For a fraction of the price, higher quality and heavier construction, it was an easy decision to purchase a second axle from East Lake Axle even when I didn't need it. The shaft is a much larger diameter with 4340 steel and the bearing assembly itself is much larger than original. The fitment was exact with no slop or play. Once it has lasted an entire hard winter of plowing I will send another update.
