Your cart is empty.The Solar Buoy acts as a standard marker buoy during the day but will illuminate at night via rechargeable solar light nestled at the buoy’s top. The watertight solar light engine’s generator will recharge in just four hours of direct sun, providing power to 5 super bright LEDs at night. The result is a beautiful glowing buoy visible from up to ½ nautical mile at night and can stay illuminated for up to 20 hours. The light engine’s LEDs will last for 100,000 hours or 20 years, and rechargeable batteries will last for up to 2 years before needing to be replaced.

This large solar powered buoy is a great depth marker or just a unique placement in your pond or lake. I love how it's solar powered so it is maintenance free. Just put it in the water and at night time it will glow in a bright vivid green color without power. It wouldn't be smart to run power into the water anyway! Lol. I also think that this is a cool piece to have in your pool for parties. I love the bright green color, you can't miss it. It's made of a very strong and sturdy material and will last a very long time in the water. It is also easy to see in the daytime, you could use it to Mark a certain distance out before drop offs or a marker to park jet skis or boats. The uses are basically up to your imagination.

The solar powered buoy is surprisingly light for the size. It works well and stays very bright after being put in sunlight.

I had this for the whole summer and it worked great. Worth the money. The only challenge I had was disassembling the top solar part to put it away for the winter. The screws stripped and I wasn't sure it was going to come apart. Now I'm a little worried about when I have to put it back together in the Spring. I'll keep you posted.
