I can't recommend this throne enough! This would be a good deal at $60! I needed a throne to go along with an electronic kit for my home studio, (acoustic kit is at our real studio). I didn't want to spend more than $50. I had worked in music retail for decades so I had a pretty good idea what would be available. As I was scrolling through this throne really caught my eye. I was happily surprised when it showed up early and even more surprised at the quality! Good, dense cushion and good stitching on the seat. Most importanly, A REAL STEAL PLATE under the cushion! Not the cheap pot metal crap that normally breaks and/or strips out after a few months. Great job GeekStands.com!

THE PRODUCT IS UNPROFESSIONALLY MADEIn the display on line the product look okay but when it is received the workmanship is bad. The welding was done by a novice and the whole throne is shaky. Why do you sell those items?THE MAIN PROBLEM HOWEVER, I PAID FOR SHIPPING AND NOW YOU WANT ME TO PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO YOU. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SOLD ME THE BAD PRODUCT.. My Son loved it. The quality seems good even for a teenager to use. My son is 13 and is enjoying using it with his drum set. Didn’t give 5 stars because there is no assembly card included. It seems very simple to put it together, and it was but not having to look up a YouTube video would have been faster. I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. Over all working perfect for us!

I purchased this drum throne to participate in a local house band jam session. Was purchased based on the pictures and recognized name brand. It does have a heavy duty appearance, however is not very sturdy. The seat is low end and very simple staples to light fabric. The hardware is thinner than expected and the throne overall is still loose at best. It does work for my limited use and overall pleased. I'm 200lbs, so if you are much lighter, you may have very good results.
