I had fun doing this with my grandchildren. We put the decorative pieces on the frame together. It did take some supervision and we used stronger glue. They wanted to give this to their mother. It came out very nice. It is a good value and the end product is worth it.

This is a fun activity for an older kid. It was easy ofr my 8 year old to figruie out and sit for about an hour and complete. the glue has been holding up great and it looks fun sitting on her desk.

My daughter loves to craft. I’m a busy mom and often feel frustrated by how hands on I have to be with kid crafts. I was able to open the glue and set my daughter up at a craft station in our house. While she worked on her cute frame design I had a Zoom call. After my meeting I saw her lovely finished product. We put her school picture in the frame and it is just adorable.I would encourage your child not to allow the charms to overhang the frame if you want to display this upright. My daughter had 2 charms hanging over the bottom edge and it makes the frame a little unstable while standing up, though wouldn’t be an issue if I hung it.I think this would make a charming gift. So many craft projects are pretty hideous and have little value upon completion. This is cute and functional!

My daughter is 17 and LOVED this crafting kit. She really enjoys crafting, and creating things in her own design so she wanted to give this frame kit a try. We like how many different little gem pieces you get, that it comes with the glue, a glue brush and tweezers to make the pieces easy to pick up, and place. For the price of this I think that it is a well priced kit for really any age kid.
