A cutting disc made of a hard abrasive with a diameter of 1 1/4" (32.0 mm) and a thickness of 0.0625" (1.6 mm) 5 per package. Ideal for cutting, grooving and trimming all kinds of materials--including metal, wood and ceramics. You can use it to cut screws and rusted bolts, make slots in screw heads, trim castings and more.

I was sure if this would be tough enough to cut through thin aluminum rails but they did it in no time with a battery powered dremmel.

Don't know why this would be recommended for lumber; it was barely able to cut through a lilac twig less than the diameter of a pencil.Locks well though, and didn't break. Probably a good value for use on the right material, whatever that is. I wanted it to remove small branches in spots too tight for either saws or pruners, and it doesn't work for that.
