Fit a 2004 Silverado extended cab, 78” bed. I used a dremel to cut off the old connecting link. Good enough for this application.

Perfect fit. A lil hassle to remove and attach new cable. Old cable snapped. The new cable is slightly thinner but it does the job. My driveway is at an incline so i use the Ebrake on the daily. I always put my transmission in Neutral then engage the Ebrake, release brake pedal to make sure there is no tension on the transmission before i put in in PARK.

This is for the intermediate cable that runs along the frame right underneath both driver side doors on an extended cab. Has a design that seems like it could be disconnected with that garbage cable disconnect tool from Lisle, unlike the OEM junction that's impossible to separate. Comes as pictured, with the splitter and a nice extra outer plastic sheath for the section of cable that runs through the frame holes/ovals/rectangle-round hole/whatever. Good part, easy to put on

Great for the price way cheaper than local auto parts store and the OEM part. Total pain in the rear to remove broken part. I had to use an angle grinder to get it off as it's age had it rusted to the metal. I know an auto shop would have gouged me to provide the part and labor though so good buy in terms of saving $$$.

This cable is at least 10 inches too short for a 2002 crew cab.
