Amazon said this part would fit my vehicle & I was able to successfully install the item & the window now works again as well as could be hoped.HOWEVER, the bar/track the regulator lies on is a bit longer than my inner door accommodates; only one of the Bolts/Rivets line up properly. I don't see myself boring out a new hole in my inner door panel (the metal sheet the motor & speaker mounts onto) in order to have another bolt/rivet hole to adhere to, so I opted to just leave the other end loose, & so far so good, but this is by no means a permanent solution.I have an '09 Jetta Sportwagen TDI, for what it's worth~
