After searching for what seemed like days for a new windshield wiper transmission assembly, I found this Dorman Part that looked like it would fit. I was a little skeptical because the OEM part was over $250 but I purchased it anyway. Couldn’t be more pleased with the fit and the value for the money!

It works and fits. That being said make sure you have a towel or something to put on the fender because it’s a very tight fit getting it out and you WILL scratch the fender if you don’t have something under it. I guess Ford figured it was never going to go bad. It’s also noticeably lighter then what I took out.

Everything work well except the motor lever arms that came with the package. The existing lever arm has horizontal ridges that fit on the motor shaft. The two that came with the wiper assembly did not. I was able to secure the push rods on the existing lever arm. The end caps seemed to fit appropriately. The pics are of the lever arms that came with the assembly and you will notice there are no ridges. Besides that it work well.

It wasn’t too hard to get in, but that is Fords design issue. This part is functioning properly and saved me a ton of money installing it myself.
