I have a 1994 F-150 XL, standard bed, 2wd that is mostly original and the leaf spring broke.I found these and it appears to look just like the original... until you get it all apart and begin to reassemble and realize the bolt that holds the spring stack together has a nut which is 2mm (16mm) larger than the factory nut (14mm) (see my attached photos). The problem this poses is the top plate to the axle U-bolts has 5 factory holes drilled in it. 4 for the u-bolts and 1 to go over the top of that nut...which doesn't fit.So you can go buy a 5/8 drill bit and hollow out the top plate but I just didn't want to modify category parts in order to fit after market ones. Wasn' worth it to me.But the other problem is the seller would not take responsibility for the part being listed as a direct fit when it wasnt. So they agreed to refund me if I paid shipping costs.Through UPS it is $163 to send the spring back. $12 more than the cost of the actual spring.Just a bad deal all the way around. But do what you want.
