  • 1. Turn off the device and fully charge it.

    2. Clean the surface of the product with a damp cloth.

    3. Ensure that the product is COMPLETELY dry.

    4. Place it on a flat surface, turn on.

    5. Reach out to Dogness through Amazon if the issue persists.

  • The training mat has a safety feature that stops it from shocking after it has given 5 continuous shocks. If your pet can tolerate the shocks, they may even lay on the mat. In this case, move your pet away and switch the mat to a stronger setting.

  • In most cases, you can choose the Power Enhanced Version. However, for younger, more sensitive, or smaller pets, you might consider the Gentle Version.

  • 1. The product is rechargeable, you don't need to buy batteries for it.

    2. If the mat is at the lowest setting and your pet doesn't go near the mat after being shocked, the battery can last up to 30 days.

  • That's normal. Please place the shock mat in areas where your cat frequently passes by. The cat will not be so fortunate every time, and it will eventually learn that the mat will shock it. You can then relocate the mat to your preferred location.

This item is great!! It worked like a charm to keep my cats from trying to run out the back door each time the dog went in or out. I had a little problem with the one I received, but the company quickly resolved the problem. A great company to do business with!!

My kitty was peeing on everything, mainly this couch. He got zapped one good time on the lowest intensity and said “nope”. I keep it on unless we’re about to sit and watch a movie. In that case, roll it out the way and the cats are befuddled as to how we’re immune from the evil couch. My couch has approximately 68in of sitting space so the 60 x15in size was nice. I appreciate there’s no hum, buzz or anything. Please, don’t try to figure it out on your own and read the instructions. Takes 2 minutes. Battery life is so good that I forgot it needed charging. One of my favorite investments under $50. 10/10

These will shock your socks off on the second setting. Won't kill you, but sure will get your attention.Works well for intended purpose. This longer unit is always beeping, indicating a fault. But can't find an explanation for the fault or a fix. May send this one back.. Smaller one works fine, no beeping.

This has been a blessing for me. I have a rescue cat that has used the bathroom on my bed since almost the first day I got him (Yes, I have taken him to the vet.). It started out with him just peeing and then went into pooping as well, from once or twice a week to daily. Over the years I have bought waterproof covers, plastic, and spikes to keep him off but he would always find a way around them. This mat has stopped him from using my bed as his personal litter box.

This pad fit perfectly on my stairs. I got it to keep our cat from going upstairs to my sewing room and getting hair on my fabric. Well , she decided she was going upstairs until she stepped on the pad, she changed her mind real quick. I don't have a problem with her even going towards the stairs any more. The battery stays charged a very long time. Great price, very durable , easy to set up, and functions like described. Of course I had to see what it felt like, so I laid my hand on pad, got a slight jolt like from a tens unit on high. Made from durable material. Thank you for a great and awesome product!

Mat works great for keeping cats away from my parakeet cage. It doesn't hurt them just gives them a good scare.
