I feel it is not for cold weather and way too small for a medium. I compared it to other medium dog sweaters we have and this one should be listed xs/s.

This is cute but can be used for fashion only. There is no opening to attach lease. Thus, it can't be used outside unless your dog goes unleashed.

I purchased this sweater for my brother's little buddy. It does not have a hole for his leash to connect to his harness. This is the only drawback we found. The size does run a little loose but not enough to need a smaller size. It's very easy to put on and will give him plenty of warmth this holiday season. The colors and detailed pattern draw lots of comments of how pretty it is and it is so soft. I would definitely purchase it again as the value and quality are great.
