My German Shepherd seems to want to bypass them, especially on the way out of the truck. I just gotta stand to the side, and kind of force him to use them. They are such a great product! I love how easy they fold/unfold, and fit right on the floor in the truck. Stairs used to be kind of a joke to use, these ones are a total game changer! I don't usually try pushing products on anyone, but best believe everyone in my circle knows about these.

Zero stars!! Do not purchase!! The steps worked great for a few months until today. My 80lb senior Golden Retriever was walking up the steps and the top two steps separated from the frame. He fell through the steps and had all four legs straddled through random lower steps. Unfortunately the site would not load my video or picture.

First time using it for our dog. Had to get old feller to vet and quickly found this to help him get into our truck. No training done; he is an older large dog with hip issues. He was able to get into and out of the truck somewhat easily. The wider and deeper step made it easier than my home-built step I put in front of the running board. A bit stiff unfolding but may loosen over time. The platform is solid with a covered material, there is reflective stickers included with the kit, along with some extra hardware. It was somewhat stiff to pull out, but even easier to collapse.

Ultimately the width of the steps won't work for my 2023 Toyota 4 Runner. It's just too wide. Make sure you measure the area you need the steps for, before you buy. The width information was missing in the description. It does fold nicely but getting it open takes some work.
