This is a very nice quality bag that is spacious, nicely padded and fits the DDJ-FLX4 perfectly with plenty of room for a couple laptops, chords, headphones, etc. It is nicely laid out so everything can be well organized too.The zippers seem solid enough but there is no branding on them so no they are not YKK for those zipper freaks. The padding here is decent but you will not be tossing this down expecting it to protect your equipment. Don't know too many that throw their gear around though so should be more than enough protection with standard use. Will it project your gear if you say drop it from your shoulder and hit that ground? I would not want to test that out as I suspect in some cases you will have damage to your gear.It has a lot of capacity, probably can house more than it would be comfortable to wear so keep that in mind.Overall, if you are looking for a gear bag that will house most of your kit and keep it reasonably protected this is a great option at ~$60 (at time of review). If you want something that is going to be serious protection so you can drop and toss your gear gently, this may not be for you. For most who travel around with their kit, this is an exceptionally capable pack.

I needed a bag to carry my controller, mics, laptop and other cables when I need to play a set for my church. I was ready to pull the trigger on a $150+ bag until I found this one. It is extremely spacious and has sleeves and pockets for all my various accessories. It seems vary during but I do wish the shoulder straps had a bit more padding. It feels good to have a proper DJ bag and not have to carry two bags to my events.

This DJ controller bag is perfect for the modern, on-the-go DJ. It's designed to fit popular controllers like the DDJ-FLX4 and DDJ 400, and offers great protection with its thick padding. The multi-pocket design includes a spot for a 17-inch laptop and extra room for cables, which is super handy. The bag is comfortable to carry, but it can get heavy and a bit uncomfortable during long treks. It's easy to pack and unpack, with smooth zippers and durable material. Overall, if you're a DJ who's always on the move, this bag is a solid choice, just be aware of the weight when it's fully loaded.

This bag is very spacious, well padded, and well made. When I ordered the bag, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.I have a ton of gear stuff that I have never found a backpack that fits all my gear, but those stuff was not a problem for this gear bag. The build quality of the bag is solid, and the bag can carry a considerable amount of weight.I loaded the gear bag with 2 heavy workstations, 2 17 inch display screens, lots of cables - hdmi, usb, chargers, a router, camera mounts, etc and I still had lots of room to pack more stuff. I have never been excited about a bag, but I really was happy to get all my gear well packed and organized in the gear bag and was able to throw it on my back and I got going. The zippers are strong, the bag is well padded that even when I loaded it with stuff and throw it on my back, it felt comfortable, and I can say that this bag will provide great protection for the stuff in it.I really recommend this gear bag for everyone looking for a well-padded strong gear backpack.

I have tried a number of solutions for carrying my MPC Live II an related accessories. Most of them have fit the MPC fine, but had issues with fitting everything else (power supply, headphones, an external MIDI keyboard). I got this one because the dimensions were plenty large enough to fit it, and with two layers, I felt like it might actually do the trick. The main pocket is well padded, and in a way that leaves some room for your gear to breathe, which is important for after you have used it. It also has two straps, which are great, because it is designed for something different, so there are two or three inches left on the top of backpack with my MPC. The second pocket, while seemingly designed for a laptop, fits my MPK Mini Plus with room to spare, and some of the accessory pockets do great for the power supply. I have to pretty much fit my over-ear headphones in the extra space (because the MPK is in the way of the headphone hook), but there is plenty of that. The external pocket is a great size for an iPad, which I also use on occasion, and there are a lot of great loops for holding cables, and useful, thought out features for musicians in the storage.I also have had quite a few carry-on sized backpacks for travel, and this compares favorably to a lot of them. The shoulder straps are not quite as well padded as some of those, which tend to be geared more towards hiking, but are well-adjustable, and have nice buckles and features for setting the load well. There are extra buckles to help hold the zippers shut, as well, which is helpful, and can help tighten up the load so it sits better against your back. The padding on the rear section pads your back well, and it is comfortable to wear as a backpack. It also has great features for connecting it to roller bags, or to carry it sideways, so it is easy to navigate a variety of situations, and the side handles are well-padded and comfortable, and not an afterthought. Compared to some other bags I have tried, or similar-sized backpacks, it is moderately priced. The materials used are of moderate quality, but for the use case that I have for it (bringing it to and from satellite locations via car), it provides plenty of protection from minor bumps and drizzles, while keeping the things I use together in an organized way. I would say as long as I was carrying it myself, it is ample protection for most situations for me.
