The caster wheels on my rabbit cage were ground down to a nub, and no it wasn't the work of my sweet little bunnies. The wheels that came with with the cage were too small and locked constantly, these screw in wheels were a bit larger and do not lock (I recommend non locking wheels myself), they roll beautifully and my wabbits are rolling in style, they told me they are very happy with these wheels.

I like furniture I can move around easily and these worked perfectly for my new family room ottoman. They roll on the low shag rug and wheels can lock when you need to keep in one spot - fantastic and I'm a happy girl!

I bought some square tubing adapters, also on Amazon, for my new desk which measured slightly smaller than 1 1/4" OD. They had 1/4"-20 threaded holes in them. These casters fit perfectly so they obviously DO have 1/4" - 20 threads. As you can see in the photo, they are threaded into the inserts in the tubing and there's no wiggle after snugging them down. Now my desk is mobile so I can get to the wiring in the back as I add or change stuff on my computer desk. These wheels at this price, with a high enough load rating for a desk (6 casters on mine) were the perfect solution to make it mobile. I must return these. They are 5/16" at thread base, then thread width, which won't give in a steel base unit. Prior to ordering, I had taken the original screw thread wheel base to Lowe's to use their gauge, in order to get the exact measurement. They appear to be very sturdy and come with additional installation accessories, but are not the size as indicated.

Nice sturdy casters - but I measured wrong and these don't fit my table. I'll keep as backup for other furniture.

These were the perfect fit for some shelving units I own, ended up buying 2 more sets. I wouldn't mind a better price, but they work so well for my needs I can live with it.
