I bought these because I wanted to add an extra speaker on my Kia Soul, which has a center speaker cutout. However, it would not have fit correctly and soon after I found the correct speaker cover for my car. So I returned these soon after.

I bought these many years ago when subwoofers didn't have much of an excursion and it worked fine to protect the speaker. Todays good subs are high excursion (meaning the cone bounces more freely), and this will not work as it keeps the subwoofer from flexing outward. For the price and some modifications, I made it work. If you want a real high excursion grill, just type that in.
