Bought to put on a customers 1904 Demon carb mounted to a 454 in a '70 C10 shorty. Bolted on just like they said it would. Bracket works fine.

Have to remove the GM factory bracket to make room for this. Then you lose the return spring hook. This bracket has 3 holes where a spring "could" attach, but the rear 2 are very hard to get a spring in and tge the spring binds - no clearance to the throttle. Needs a redesign or a protruding part to hook to.

I expected the finish to match the carburetor finish in some way. It looks like aluminized steel. I will be even more disappointed if it shows rust anytime soon. Its not like its a hidden part. I expected more from the branded part. Its not like I bought a cheap imitation or knock off. Whats up with that Holley?

I needed a way to install a TH350 kickdown cable to a Demon 1901 carburetor in a 1970 GMC C25. This application uses a throttle rod instead of cable. I welded the two pieces together, cut off part of the top throttle cable mounting hole to allow the throttle rod to operate. I may try to drill the tab left over for another throttle spring location. Also had to relocate my throttle return spring/bracket to mount to the front of the intake manifold. Will work out of the box for later cable operated applications. Otherwise, easy to make work for other stuff.
