First time replacing an aerator. Kept turning and turning to get old one out then realized all I had to do was turn on the water and it would force it out so learn from my mistake. Turn key a few times and then turn on your water to see if it will pop it out - a lot easier to do it that way.

I had to clean a bunch of scale off of my sink first, and every time I'd put this in the O- Ring would bunch up and hang out. I had to switch the O-Ring from the one I was removing to this one. They look identical, so I'm not sure why there was an issue, butt the new aerator is in place and works great. I forgot how much water flow I had in that sink.

NOT as pictured!. Key is black and multi faceted and the only thing it was useful for was banding my current Delta Aerator, and hurting my palm, as there is no grip at all. You have to turn it from an open hole into your palm. Painful and useless.

Although there are less-expensive generic options for replacing the aerator in your Delta faucet, this is a direct replacement, from the manufacturer, so you have no worries. It fit perfectly and was simple to replace.

Mine aerator was a bit stripped and calcified in place. Was finally able to get it out. Aerator was a perfect fit.

I will say it did work eventually but it took more effort because the supposed Delta aerator tool as shown on the listing was not the product sent to me. I chose this product because I wanted the bottom knob to ease turning the tool. The product sent to me had partial side knobs which did not allow me to push up on it to keep it attached correctly and turn it at the same time. Spent unnecessary time getting it to turn 1/2 rotation before it disconnected because I was unable to push and turn. I am not happy with this product and will purchase a true Delta tool from one of the big box stores for the same price.

Firstly, the tool that came to me was not blue. It was black and looks much different than the product picture on this page. However, it worked perfectly. The water running in my Delta faucet was at a trickle. This kit quickly took care of that. It was fixed in 5 minutes and the water is running normally.

Product fit our 11 year old faucet perfectly. Although there are several types of Delta faucet aerators available at our Home Depot that were supposed to fit, none did. After spending a good while going through our paperwork from a whole house rebuild following hurricane Ike, we found the original owners manual and got the exact model number we needed. This proper aerator solved our problem instantly. Excellent value, superb fit, and proper water flow. Thanks

The Delta RP51345 works great on my Delta Leland 2575LF-RMBPU bathroom faucets (I have 3). I spent a small fortune trying to find the right size wrench key for my Delta bathroom faucets. The Delta representative cannot help you if you do not know the exact model faucet. Finally, I went on the web and looked at every faucet with a 4 inch centercet and found my exact bathroom model. Then I looked at the printed drawing of each part of the faucet to get the aerator part number (it's listed on the specifications information for the faucet). It's sad that there is no other easy way to go about finding a wrench key to fit the aerator, but after some effort, I finally found that my aerator part was RP51345. Next I searched for this aerator part, which conveniently comes with the wrench key. It fits perfectly. It is much smaller than some of the other wrench keys I tried. One of the keys and aerators that I bought fits my Delta kitchen sink, so at least some of my money was well spent. At some point, I was so outraged with my faucet and not being able to find the correct wrench key, that I almost replaced our Delta faucets to get "regular" aerators that did not require a wrench key to remove. I'm not sure why the builder did not leave the wrench key under the sink when the house was built (only 3 years ago)... I may not have known what it was at the time, but I would have kept it in a safe place. I hope this information helps the consumer to know how to find the correct wrench key when you suddenly get lime buildup in your faucet and can't figure out how to remove the aerator.
